At CanHealth International, we are dedicated to supporting diverse communities around the globe with initiatives that help advance medical education. The first successful collaboration was recently realized when Interactive Health International (IHI) partnered with us to provide Ghalib University, Afghanistan, with a brand new center supporting medical students and faculty. The CyberPatient Center for Education and Research officially opened its doors on September 1, 2022, despite many current challenges in the country. Until this successful collaboration, the university did not have the electronic capabilities to access the CyberPatient platform that was already made freely available to them. This opportunity makes experiential learning with CyberPatient an integral part of the university’s medical school program.

About CyberPatient
CyberPatient, a product of IHI, is a virtual training hospital with 130 interactive patients. Students can practice multiple clinical skills, from history taking and physical examination to the final diagnosis and case dismissal presented in peer-reviewed, inpatient, and outpatient cases. Many institutions use the platform across the globe as faculty integrate the simulation experience into their curriculum to support their students. Students benefit from different outcomes and consequences of their decisions in a safe virtual environment.
